"Perfect quick, overnight stay. Very clean, continental breakfast with boiled eggs, yogurt, pastries, cereal, Uncrustables even, lol. Only minor concer was on our ground floor room, the window lock was broken, prob from prior guests. I mentioned to staff the next morning and they said they would take care of it. (We propped something in the window jam that night so I wasn't too concerned)."

"Do not stay here. You will regret it. Our room had mold, smelled awful, hadn't been dusted or really cleaned and the property is under construction so there are hazards everywhere. Bed felt like I was sleeping on marbles. I would have been more comfortable in my car! We only stayed one night because we were exhausted from traveling. I booked for 2 nights and will try to get a refund for the second night given the horrible conditions. I have no idea if the breakfast was any good as we left very early."

The hotel also appeared to offer accessible features, which is important for travelers who need them. The rooms were clean, though they could use some updates, especially the mattresses. That said, the overall convenience made it worth it. The hotel offers a pool, fitness center, free breakfast, a small concession area, and a pet walking area, which was a great bonus since I was traveling with my dog. It is clearly a pet friendly property, which made the stay even more enjoyable. The staff was very friendly and helpful throughout my stay, which always makes a difference. The hotel is slightly off the main road, so it is quiet but still close enough to town. I also appreciated how easy it was to use services like Instacart and Grubhub during my stay. Overall, it is a solid choice if you are looking for a clean, convenient, and comfortable place to stay near Danville, especially for solo travelers or those traveling with pets."

"What an unbelievable treasure! Located on a beautiful property with lots of space to explore, the fire tower is a fun tuck away that just uses with character and ambience. Just being there helps you feel connected with nature and the people you’re with! I will certainly be coming back!"

"This building is beautifully and thoughtfully decorated. We stayed in "Kate's Room" and the bits of history and decor were elegant and deliberate. We had everything we needed and more. The bed was comfortable, and the house was quiet. We will, without a doubt, stay at the Shamokin BnB again if we find ourselves in Shamokin."
