"We had an amazing overnight stay with our dog. It's close to the castle and park, which is a great place for a walk, as well as being right in the centre of town. Our dog was really well looked after with lots of fuss and water bowls. You can eat in the bar area with your dog and there's also a lovely patio outside when the weather's good. We had a nice dinner there and also a huge breakfast the next morning. Roscommon itself was a nice town and really well connected for exploring other parts of Ireland, we wished we'd booked more than one night. Would visit again."

"Had a wonderful stay at Moyvannan Castle. Truly a unique experience. The book on the history of the castle lets you almost feel like you are back in time. All the rooms are beautifully furnished. Kitchen is well stocked for almost any cook. Huge dining room. Bedrooms spacious. The circular staircase in the turret is a little tight but a lift makes it easy to get up to the top bedroom (it was built a long time ago). The grounds are beautiful and the outdoor seating area is perfect. You are out in the country and wake to the sound of bleating sheep!! When we arrived Joan was there to meet us and made sure we had everything we needed. Highly recommended!!"
