"Well done Ellison hotel! Wonderful staff. I've been to numerous hotels and have never seen one where everyone was so kind, attentive and welcoming. In addition, excellent rooms and facilities, great food (e.g., best seafood chowder I've ever had) and central location with all shops within short walking distance. Though I was on a business trip, I had time to admire some of the beauty of Co. Mayo and fell in love with it. "

"The hotel staff were so friendly! We chose this hotel last minute and were very happy with the decision. It was very easy to get to and a short drive to downtown. Our room was at the end of the hall and quiet. Very nice bathroom with plenty of toiletries. "

"We absolutely loved our stay here, we were looking foward to a nice peaceful long weekend and this cottage provided just that. The kids loved having there own rooms as they usually have to share a room when we go away. My son had hours of enjoyment using the extra large box of lego to not only play with but also to do his stop motion videos. We did have the unfortunate inconvenience of car troubles on a bank holiday weekend but sean and suzie were very helpful in suggesting places that could help us and even offered to baby/dog sit if we needed and gave us extra time in the cottage before checking out so that we could make areangements. We could not recommend them more for a quiet getaway and we look foward to returning in the future. They have provided everything you will need while you are there, there is no utensil or cookware that you will find yourself without. Thank you so much for having us "
