We wanted a home base to make day trips from and Brownstown Lodge was absolutely perfect for us! the house is lovely, the property so peaceful, the view perfection. The house lends itself to privacy if you want it and togetherness when you want that. We would absolutely stay here again. Thomas was so helpful with information prior to our arrival. The house was spotless, the beds perfectly comfortable. We were able to enjoy a family meals together and conversation around the fireplace. I can't recommend this home enough.
