"Just returned from my 3rd stay at the Bard's Inn and it will not be the last. I absolutely love everything about this hotel. The location is prime. Very close to downtown shops and restaurants 1-3 minutes. 5 minute walk to Lithia Park. Staff is very friendly. Extremely quiet. I saw other guests but I didn't hear a peep from them the entire time from within my room. I traveled with 2 children this time around and they loved the pool and breakfast options. I've also stayed here solo and with my husband. It offers something for all travelers. I feel extremely safe and secure. The rooms are clean and as photographed. Parking is plentiful and secure. Highly recommend. Looking forward to my next stay already!"

"The Stratford is very reasonably priced and in easy walking distance to town and the theaters. We have stayed here while attending OSF many times starting in 1986. We appreciate having a small fridge and microwave in the room, plus Safeway right across the street. It is an older property but generally in good condition. "

The Victorian themed nature collections of leaves, shells, butterflies, etc. that decorated the lobby, elevator, and halls were fascinating and added to the ambience of a step back in time. Dinner cuisine at the Larks Kitchen was beautifully prepared and served."
