"This is one of the fuel properties that is available in Husavic. There is a new Fast Hotel as well. There was parking available and I liked it. They had provided coffee at 8 AM and fruit. However, checking in was a bother of course we had prepaid and we got there at 6:30 and could not get through the front door. There was another person there trying to get in as well. They stated that they’re there until 7 PM. He finally had to go make an actual phone call to get us in and it turned out that there was a woman there the whole time but there’s no doorbell or any way to let them know that you were there. Also, once we got to our room, this is a property where you have a shared bathroom and when you try to get out of your room, the door did not open very easily and it was very difficult to get out to get to the bathroom you have to push the door hard while turning the button and then reach for the door knob to get out. I would say I would not stay there again."

"This house was absolutely amazing. It had stunning views, all amenities you would need and so much space to just relax. The host provided thorough instructions, everything was clean and easy to use. I only wish we chose to stay in this quiet space a few more days of our trip!"

"The property was accurate to the description. Questions were answered timely and the stay was quiet and enjoyable. The only feedback would be the cleanliness of the property. I assume we were the first rental of the season. The view. The view does all the heavy lifting. You simply cannot be disappointed with such a breathtaking view. Would absolutely stay again upon my return to Iceland. "

"Amazingly gorgeous property, location, and view! This is, hands down, the best VRBO experience that we have had, and we use VRBO frequently. The owners were highly accommodating to needed changes to our trip schedule. The view is serene and awe-inspiring, the house beautifully appointed, travel is easy to Akureyri, and there are precious touches like the enclosed, mineral water fed hot tub. If there were 6 stars to give, this property well deserves it!"
