"The place is like renting a condo. We had stayed last year for a week. So we had an idea of what we were going to have for this stay. We had a first floor unit with kitchen and living room of which we requested. If you don’t request a first floor unit the second floor units have a lot of steps in order to reach units. For most part, we enjoyed our stay. Like I said it’s like a condo as the people above you or next to you if they’re loud. But for most of the time it’s very peaceful. A park lot across from the beach is great."

"We absolutely love the property. This day was fantastic. We even got a late checkout. We got to enjoy the beach and the pool the next day. It was only an overnight trip, but it was fabulous."

"Our family thoroughly enjoyed the week in Kitty Hawk! We took advantage of being steps from the sand, spending plenty of time in the ocean and relaxing on the beach – without needing to lug heavy bags, wagons, coolers, and equipment. It was heaven! The lounge swing was cozy for naps and reading. Inside, we had everything we needed in the kitchen, living area, and bathrooms. The bedrooms were very nice and roomy. We would have appreciated blinds or blackout shades to cut the light from beaming outside lights (from houses across the street), but the Roman shades were fine. The mattresses were good and one room added a super soft mattress topper. We admit we're hard to please when it comes to mattresses and beds.Dave and Cindy were very responsive to communicating! The area is very safe and easy to get to all the places like five minutes to supermarkets and drugstores. Highly recommend!"

"We had a wonderful vacation at OBX North Carolina. The house was in a perfect location to the beach. We enjoyed every morning watching the sunrise on shore and afternoons at the pool. Thank you for sharing your house with us."

"It was a nice place to stay overall. Just wished we knew there were narrow steps heading to the room at the back of the house. It was pretty clean, the ceiling fan wasin verge of falling off and noticed some tapes around it so we did not use the ceiling fan. It would of been nice to have working ceiling fan. The showwer glass barrier was wobbly and not secured so the water would drip out. The stairs walking up to the front door had nails popping out on it so be careful so you dont step on the nails that were sticking out. Most of them were on the side. But it was decent place to sleep over for few nights."

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was our fourth year staying at the Lazy Dazy and it feels like home. The place was spotless and clean upon check-in, has all the amenities needed for a week at the beach, the staff was friendly and efficient when picking up our welcome packet, and the location is great. Love this hidden gem of a rental!"
