"I first saw the Foxhole #3 on previous visits to Kitty Hawk with friends. As we passed by the house, I would often say that it looked like a great place to stay at the beach. Years later, I have now stayed there and I was not wrong. It was great! Cozy, quiet and you can't get closer to the beach. I counted 100 steps from the back step to water's edge."

"Blackbeard’s Retreat was clean, however could use an update. Awesome location, could benefit from an outdoor hose or shower, we needed to rinse off with the neighbor’s hose. It suited our needs for a couple days. "

"The cottage itself was cute and if properly cleaned and maintained it would have been wonderful. The floor/tiles in one bathroom were loose, in the other bathroom the floor felt "squishy" and there were multiple broken/cracked shelves in the shower. Two of the burners on the stove did not work and when using the stove/oven there was smoke. The window when opened to alleviate the smoke would not stay open. This property allows pets and unfortunately their cleaning and repairs do not keep up with...

"This was a wonderful place to just relax, within walking distance of the beach. My family and I loved sitting on the deck, feeling the breeze, and watching the golfers on the green. I highly recommend this place! It was a fantastic stay! "
