"For Old Town and access to University Square fior trips booked through Expedia if is the perfect location, less than 10 minutes walk. Clean and tidy hotel that doesnt break the bank and everyone was helpful and friendly. Breakfast is really nice with lots of choice and you can eat in the bar, a limited menu but something for all and good prices. Would highly recommend."

"I loved this hotel. I would definitely recommend the hotel to travelers, but only if you can navigate the streets (either by walking or by bus or by metro) The staff told me that the hotel is about 130 years old, and it still has this old-world charm. But the room was fully up-to-date, with air conditioning (which is not always the case in Eastern Europe), and very clean. The staff was wonderful, though sometimes we had to work at the language barrier a little bit (sadly, it's my fault. I only speak American English and am not bi-lingual). It was a quiet, peaceful stay on a quiet street. The area around the hotel is probably normal for Bucharest, but felt a bit run-down for the American suburban-ite. It was safe, and we walked everywhere, even late into the evening. We simply had to get past our American expectations. I did not eat in the restaurant, so I cannot speak to that."
