"I had a pleasant and comfortable stay. I only ate at the hotel one evening but the salmon fillet was delightful. All of the staff were polite and friendly whilst remaining very professional. Nevan, in particular, was remarkably calm, professional and attentive in the face of multiple large coach-parties in addition to private guests, making him a true asset to the establishment. Thanks all!"

"The location was great. The room was ok for a night However I could hear everything from the room next door and out in the hall. I think the rooms next door was worse because it appears to be a joining room. The bed was apparently a double but there is no way you could fit 2 people in there comfortably. There was quite a bit of wear and tear in the bathtub (big chips out of the enamel and the whole bathroom could do with a revamp. Breakfast was great. Bit of a downside that they don’t do dinner meals (wasted opportunity) but there is a really good whetherspoons restaurant just around the corner."

"Excellent stay at the lovely hotel. Spotlessly clean. Room very comfortable and warm. Good amenities. The staff were outstanding very polite courteous welcoming and friendly. Stayed for evening meal and it was excellent one of the best meals I have had at a restaurant. Breakfast excellent freshly cooked to order. Beautiful scenery in a peaceful setting If you are visiting Penrith area this is the place to stay "
