"Then hotel could use a spruce up but was clean and the staff was GREAT. The person on the 7am-3pm shift the day we arrived was so nice and helpful and worked with me to get us into our rooms earlier in the day by swapping room types (we prepaid for more expensive rooms and took a downgrade with no refund but that was just fine with us for the convenience of not waiting in the lobby for a couple of more hours) and we were very thankful for the flexibility. As someone who was in the hospitality industry that worked every department there is including as a GM of full service hotels for over 20 years, believe me when I say I pay attention to every detail when it comes to the staff and I was happy. Hotels age and don't always look brand new but staff and cleanliness and amenities all overshadow the aging property as long as it is not neglected (there is a difference)!"

"The property is an older building. Two elevators but only one was working at a time. With luggage and cruise passengers all leaving at the same time it was drama to get down stairs. The rooms and beds were comfortable. Right in the middle of the action. Safe area."
