"The caravan is on a very clean delightful site. You are in the lakes but feel like you are on a beach holiday, so best of both worlds. Nice plot near the Children's park. Tidy caravan with everything you need. Met the staff on site, very helpful. Gorgeous homemade ice cream hut near the beach and has its own bar with entertainment. Owner excellent with communication, everything you need for a family holiday. All you need in Millom including Tesco's and eateries. Food deliveries even to caravan. Part of a nature reserve. Who needs more?"

"Great find. A very reasonably priced guest house. Easy and private access to the guest bedrooms using a code key. The bedroom and separate private bathroom were lovely and clean and very light and airy. I’ve got to say the bedding felt beautiful. Breakfast was basic but was included in the price we paid. A croissant and jam or marmalade which was left for us in the room. Tea, coffee, milk and biscuits were also provided and replaced as necessary. There was also a little outdoor seating space which was very nice to use on a sunny evening. Plenty of information was provided about bus routes and the surrounding areas. "

"As a group of middle aged to elderly mountain bikers, we were looking for somewhere located close to the hills but away from the crowds. Hill Top Farm provided this and so much more. We ate every meal "al fresco", patronised a number of local eateries and loved the games room where table tennis matches were hard fought.We had a room each and were very happy with our choice. "We had a very enjoyable 4 nights at Lind End Cottage. We were warmly greeted by Janet, who was very friendly. The cottage was clean and very well laid out with a wonderful view from the dining room.The bed was comfortable and a good shower plenty of hot water and at a decent pressure.On leaving Janet called in to see if were happy with everything and to chat about our bike rides and walking trips. Thank you again Janet for a lovely stay."
