"We enjoyed the area where the house was positioned.. a nice quiet neighbourhood..Cockermouth town within walking distance..The house had all the amenities to hand..Always hot water available & nice large white bath towels."

"We had a wonderful stay at this lovely house, it was clean, comfortable beds, very spacious, close to all amenities and easy free parking outside. The small yard was very useful for our small dog.Silloth itself is a gorgeous town, the kids had a lot of fun, there are lovely parks, an arcade, fairground, splash park in the summer, the sand dunes and the Green was hosting an event during our stay, which was great timing for us. You are only a short drive away from Carlisle and the Lake District...

"Great location, friendly hosts, clean and spacious. We had a wonderful stay in this quiet, secluded farm cottage. Even though we were only 30minutes from Dumfries, it felt like we were deep in the country. Highly recommended for a family stay."

"Perfect in every way. We had our wedding weekend there, just 15 mins drive from Gretna. Clean, spacious, beautiful, dog friendly with all the amenities you could imagine & more. Can't praise out hosts highly enough and Annan has everything you could need including beautiful walks along the river & coast."

"We loved this house was close to where we needed. The only thing disappointing was we had to rush to be out by 10 with there being a few of us as well. We did text to see if the house was being taken the next night to see if we could add another night but got no reply and was showing available online but didn’t want to do it online again as we would of had two cleaning charges. Apart from that it was ideal for us and would use again"

"The house was perfect for our family of 7, with four bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. All rooms were a good size with a large kitchen dinner. The bonus for us with two teenage grandchildren was the pool table and table tennis. Would go back anytime."

"Very comfortable and well equipped accommodation, loads of games for the kids. Close to beautiful woods and Rockcliffe beach. Had some issues finding the lodge at first and some WiFi issues, but managed to resolve."

"While we really enjoyed staying in the clean well appointed house, there are a couple of improvements that could be made to make it extra special. Please consider the quality of some of the contents e.g. the cutlery is flimsy and will not last long, pillows fell flat. The stair rail is a bit loose. Thank you."
