"Amazing experience but a bit odd… we took public transportation which I would not recommend. It took most of the day to get to from Fukuoka. With bad storms, the local train service was temporarily cancelled. Given we had no car and the ground was very wet there was nothing to do but stay put. The hotel staff was very friendly and tried to help us navigate our journey back. The onsen experience was our first and was amazing. Overall the property is very dated and sleepy. The food was disappointing but the dining room views were stunning!"
