"Fantastic base for our skiing holiday in Kirchberg. We are both beginner skiers so the resort was perfect for us with a blue slope and ski school within easy walking distance of the hotel. Very close to the train station, the town centre and ski school area with convenient, free bus links to ski lifts and other ski areas in the locality. Beautiful room with amazing views, very helpful and friendly staff, good food and a lovely spa. Would definitely return!"

Slope across the street is a bunny hill suitable only for beginners and it is not attached to other lift systems. Sauna and steam are well maintained, run very hot, but somewhat small with only 6 lounges so...

"This is a large and very comfortable hotel in the traditional style but much enlarged over the years. The location is a couple of miles outside Kirchburg with easy access to the skiing via a frequent bus which stops directly outside and serves the local lifts and through to Kitzbuhl. The room was large and comfortable and the extensive spa facilities were outstanding. Breakfast and Dinner were a highlight - some of the best we have found in Austria. "I liked the small alpine chalet feel, the breakfast and dinner meals were first grade, closeness to ski lift. It is close to the road, so you may need to go prepared (ear plugs and/or sleep mask)."

"Short 5mkn walk to hire ski gear. Ski shuttle to lifts every morning running continuously. Sauna etc excellent. Great variety if food and very friendly staff. It is a quiet hotel so don't expect singsongs in the bar. Overall excellent stay."

"Very pleasant. there was nearby parking but with it near the bus stop and a restaurant downstairs, the lot can be full at peak times. But have some patience and a spot will open. It is close to a fantastic ski resort: Kitzski. By close I mean walk over. Also you can walk to town and walk to the toboggan run. So you can park and leave the car. We had to travel to St. Johann because Kitzski is not for beginners. Bar was pleasant. ski rental is also close and discounted. Pizza is near. ...
