The bathroom/ shower house is that of an older well used campground shower house and could use a face lift but gets the job done. "The house is spacious with more than enough room for the 5 of us. All the beds and rooms were clean. It had two kitchens with the only issue I found being one sink garbage disposal was malfunctioning at the time. The host was quick to respond when we had issues or questions and the pool was great to relax after running around. If you want a place to just relax or if you want a home base to come and go from, this was great. We only stayed 4 days and it went by too fast and would book again"

"well appointed kitchen, beds comfortable/clean. No HVAC system, room heater wouldn't work, ceiling in living room coming down, screen porch in poor repair, no towels (think at least there should be) no outlet in. bathroom and no place to plug in hair dryer & use a mirror. I had asked for a number to call owner & didn't get one, I arrived late due to numerous traffic delays, used ring doorbell and said to leave a message, as I was walking away it started talking to me and told me where to go....

"The home was lovely and had most everything one expects when renting a cabin. Only issue if you even want to call it an issue was we never could find where the propain tank was for the propain grill's and fire pit."

"Great place to get away from city living. The views of the river were beautiful and the area was so quiet and peaceful. Just be careful not to leave anything down on the river bank unattended, a passing kayaker may take it. I learned this the hard way and my son's fishing pole and net were taken."

"The accommodations were wonderful. All basic accessories were provided to get your stay started. Grocery and eating establishments are within a few miles. Great fishing opportunities right down the road. Had all the comforts of home. "

"Pretty good cabin. There were broken switches, burnt out bulbs, one of the exterior doors was nearly inoperable, the knobs on the range kept falling off or stopped working, and the cabin was missing toiletries when we arrived. The toiletries were resolved about a day later and since we were only there a couple days, the rest wasn’t worth bothering with. The lighting inside the cabin is really weird - there’s no lighting at the dining table or the kitchen island so all cooking and dining was done...

"We go to Glenwood from East Texas almost every summer to float the river and this year decided to rent a house instead of a hotel. CLO was beautiful, clean, peaceful and cozy. The host was very responsive and helpful with questions. We will definitely consider this house again next summer."

"The house was clean, well thought out. The carport/patio was great for grilling and game nights. The screened in porch was nice to sit and relax. The outdoor fire pit was nice and the fire table was awesome also. The deck over the small creek was nice to sit and relax while the kids can play. We had one small problem when we first got there and the owners were on it quick and resolved it before we could even unload. Extremely nice people. Only "BIG" problem we had was we didn't want to leave....
