"Whatever it is that you have been choking on, Mandragoras will have you breathing again! This concept hotel has so much soul that even the pictures you are staring at now – dumbfounded, hardly believing your luck – are going to fade the minute you set your foot in it. The best holiday ever, and a lot of it had to do with how we have been treated, the fabulous advice we have been given, the cordial talks we have had after long days of exploring. We were welcomed like family and when the time came to leave we parted like best friends. Subtle yet simple, this is an unlikely place for the posh crowd, rather this is the place for unassuming travelers, who take genuine interest in everything local. It is the place for those who value true down-to-earth luxury with no hint of opulence and appreciate how remarkably affordable it can be. And we loved the architecture! Rarely you find such respect for the environment, such consideration for guests' privacy, such clever landscaping and functional layout that will keep you marveling day-in day-out, is this genius or what? The location is convenient and quiet, off the busy road but very close to main routes, a short walk to Nydri town and KTEL bus stop. The views in Lefkada are truly exquisite, you are so spoilt for choice that even your postcard view from the terrace will seemingly become all too ordinary over the course of your stay. "Agnantia B & B is the perfect place to stay as it’s not in the hustle and bustle of Fiskardo where literally hundreds of people are dropped there daily from large vessels sailing in from other parts of the island, as well as luxury yachts mooring there. Agnantia is in Tselentata, a short drive up in the hills above Fiskardo or an 8 euro taxi ride. It is delightfully quiet and the view from our room was peaceful and mesmerising. Agnantia’s hospitality is first class. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was amazing and Maria, the chef, catered for my gluten and lactose intolerances with such grace going out of her way to bring in gf bread. Overall a lovely place to stay which was a recommendation from a family member who had stayed previously. Now I can pass that recommendation on to others. "

"Fantastic apartment with good soundproofing / adherance to quiet hours. This is not a hotel; during your stay you are responsible for keeping your space clean. Our room was sparkling upon arrival, with a gorgeous view of the mountain across from us. Our host was very considerate and even let us try some of her homemade wine. The apartments were walking distance from several phenomenal restaurants. The beach I would not recommend walking to. The distance is small but the incline is massive. Our host also provided a pamphlet with her recommendations on the island. We had already planned the trip, but there was so much more we learned about from her- we would certainly consider another trip here. I would love to spend more time in this apartment. I will mention you will not get a long shower here, as this is an eco-friendly site and water is scarce in Greece. "

"Great experience, stayed in the Perla suite. Kind & helpful staff. Room cleaned daily-staff was willing to come back when we hadn’t left yet. Good location to explore the island. Well equipped kitchen for whatever your cooking needs sans an oven. Close to Sami for restaurants, shopping, ferry, & Antisamos. Local tavernas good with lovely staff as well. "
