First, I want to acknowledge that the manager was very kind and professional during my stay, which I appreciated. However, there were several aspects of my experience that were disappointing.
I initially intended to stay only one night, but due to the hotel’s non-refundable policy and the fact that I booked through a third party, I was unable to receive a refund for the remaining nights.
Upon arrival, I noticed cleanliness issues in the room—specifically, hair on the bed sheets that clearly wasn’t mine. This gave me concern about the overall cleanliness of the space. Additionally, the amenities advertised on the booking site were not accurate. One of the main reasons I chose this hotel was because it listed a gym, which turned out to be closed. I also did not see a pool on the property.
The hotel appeared to be undergoing renovations, which was not mentioned beforehand. The furniture, including the sofa and lamp shade, had visible stains, and I didn’t feel comfortable using them.
I would recommend updating the photos and amenity information on Expedia or other booking platforms to reflect the current state of the property. Transparency is important for helping guests make informed decisions.
