"The room was spacious and clean. Location was great, 10-15 min walk to Japan's biggest Kura, Senso-ji temple and Nakamise Dori street market. If you want to buy souvneirs, Don Quijote is around that area. The only issue I had was that the dryer did not function too well, my clothes were only half dry and some had a weird smell afterward. I would go back and stay there next time. I love the 4 queen sized beds."

Perhaps for others needing to be closer to transportation, it might be. The up side was a lovely, quiet and very clean neighbourhood and less touristy. Have booked the same company in Kyoto. Again, slightly off the beeten track from the downtown hub but great room. New, clean and spacious for a family of 5 (3 adult...

"Great location, close to Ueno Station for exploring Tokyo. A short walk to Ueno Park, museums and other cultural attractions. Staff were friendly and everything was kept very clean. "

"Great stay at Calm Asakusa. Best things about property was the location, so close to Asakusa station and other sights including restaurants, shopping and of course Kaminarimon Gate & Sensoji Temple. The property itself was very clean & quiet. Having a washing machine was very handy. Bathroom had all the bells and whistles and water temperature & pressure were excellent. We were staying there as a family of four with two kids and found it quite tight as the day bed could really only fit one...

"Very good experience with this short term appartement rental. We felt like part of the Tokyo community with little to no other tourists beside us. The location was perfect for transport being right next to a subway station. About 7min walk (station has a direct line to the NRT airport). There were plenty of local restaurants near by and if you want many choices in on place you can head to the mall under the sky tree (more expensive and might have line ups). We received all the information needed...

"We booked this hotel for 9 nights in total. In short, we enjoyed every bit of our stay for many reasons - the responsiveness of communication; easy access (e.g. self check-in, hotel rules & user guide info); cleanliness; location of the hotel (not to mention that million dollar view!) and everything one would look for in a 2 bedroom apartment hotel in Tokyo. The only downside is, it does not have an elevator so if you travel with many luggage climbing up 5th floor on stairs could be challenging....

"Nice property with more room than the average hotel. Everything was clean. The bathroom was nice because it had a bath tub and shower. The bed was the old school spring box. It was comfy enough. The bidet was great. It's walking distance to a temple, but far away from everything else. It's located in the historical geisha row and some "bath" houses are still in business. A commute to Harajuku was almost an hr travel time, and Ginza was about 40 min. The closest train station was a 12 min walk....

"Lovely apartment, unfortunately it’s right next to a karaoke bar so it’s really noisy into the late night. Nice kitchen but didn’t provide anything like tea or coffee or milk. "
