"Stayed for a week in this cottage with fabulous views. Very clean and just about everything you need. We were only missing a corkscrew and egg cups, but anything else you need is there. Not quite as homely as we would have hoped as the cottage is quite sparse, but still had a wonderful time. Great to be able to access the canal and take a nice long walk to Neptune’s staircase from the cottage!"

"The approach to the property alone sets the scene for an experience. The property is lovely with so much room and many amenities. The view across the loch was breathtaking. Lucky enough to see deer and seals from the bedroom windows. The house stayed warm through the storms which even for the area were pretty extreme according to the locals. Absolutely nothing requires complaint it was a brilliant property. Definitely great for hide and seek lol"

Immaculate, roomy, with easy access to the roads to take our family of five on many hikes and adventures while having a cozy home base to return to when we were done with our day. "7 of us stayed here for the last week of summer and we had an amazing time. The house was the perfect location, with comfortable beds and stunning views from the upstairs bedrooms. The kitchen facilities were perfect for what we needed- recommend bringing a food shop with you as the closest supermarket is a while away but the local co-op was perfect for bits and bobs we’d forgotten. I can't come up with the words to describe how beautiful the setting along the lake was. We spent a week here using the house as a base to explore the Highlands. "A well equipped, large 2 bedroom apartment. Ample parking. Easy to find. Central Fort William is not on the doorstep, but still walkable. Good internet. Only one downside, and the reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5, is the beds. I don't know how old the mattresses are, but they are kind of lumpy and I left a body shaped dent in mine when I got up (and I'm not a large person) - they need replacing. The double bed is also rather short - I am 5' 9" and my feet kept touching the base board - someone...
