"Alright my mother is 74 and aunt 68 and in good shape but hauling our luggage 6 flights of stairs was a challenge. Just be prepared to pack an overnight bag and you'll be happier. You have to make reservations for the pool but the view was amazing. "

"We chose this location because of our plan to do several hikes, as well as visit the various Locks and Isle of Sky. It is a great location, though plan ahead and get your groceries in Fort William as the shop in Fort Augustus is pretty sparse. The unit was very clean and comfortable. We had a little problem with the wi-fi, but it was tolerable (since we weren't there to be on our devices). We also had the stovetop go out on us. The property managers were right on it. "We missed the turning as postcode didnt take us to the Bothie direct, but as soon as we saw the Laggan Lock sign right by the bus stop we never missed it.
