"Friendly staff and food in the restaurant was great. Room needs a more thorough clean. No blackout blinds/curtains and lots of traffic going past in the morning, so we were woken early."

"The staff and pub were lovely and the food good. The accommodation was basic but clean, but for the one night it was fine."

"Absolutely great stay… called after booking to ask about check in as we were at an event in town and would be there before check in and maybe late back… could not fault the response from Brian and his team… absolutely superb service. Rooms are functional and represented excellent value for money. Breakfast was freshly cooked and lovely. If you are after a no frills excellent value for money stay with friendly landlord then you won’t go far wrong. "

"Good location and typical pub with rooms. Details said parking available at surcharge in fact it is available but not on site it’s the local car parks so better clarity on that. Staff all great and helpful and good food"
