"Breakfast was ok but a little basic. The cutlery was flimsy plastic which was difficult to cut up food. Staff were very helpful and room larger than average. Bed was amazing On check in though we were charged an extra. €45 which was not on our Expedia booking receipt. Reception guy was saying it was extra tax but on check out seems to show as “destination fee” which indicates use of facilities that I feel should be in with the price and certainly mentioned on website. All in all decent hotel but this left a little sour taste Last point we enquired to a taxi for a short 5 minute drive to car rental. A guy appeared who seemed to work at hotel. He charged us €20 and then proceeded to tell us that Memphis is really dangerous and we should avoid downtown Beale which is the area we were headed and stay close to Graceland! Made us very uncomfortable on arrival at Memphis and less confident until we spoke with a few locals who gave us measured advice!"

"Less a hotel, more a huge appartment in the heart of the city with fabulous views. We loved the space and the amenities. Great gym, pool and hot tub too. This was bigger and better than we expected. Top tip - ask for as high as possible for the best views and minimal street noise. It goes up to floor 32."
