We stayed here for New Years with 5 families and 18 people and it was absolutely perfect. We had 8 teens/preteens with us and they spent the entire time outside playing with all the outdoor activities.The house itself is perfectly setup. It has everything you could possibly need. We will be booking again.

There is nothing these owners didn’t think of . Spectacularly done! Plenty for our kids to do and they played their hearts out! Nothing negative about this place!!! If I could I would have to say I would give it a 20 plus rating!!!!!

My entire family absolutely loved the cabins. Shan was extremely helpful and made sure we had everything we needed. The outdoor setup was amazing and all of our kids loved it! It is the perfect setup for large family gatherings and very kid friendly. I’d highly recommend.

We just returned from a great first trip to Lake Texoma and are already planning a return trip. The house was perfect with each room having its own bathroom. The hosts truly made us like old friends. The grounds with pickleball and basketball courts and fire pits for s’mores made a perfect place for the 8 kids under the age of 11 to run around and play! Truly a wonderful place, property, house and hosts!

Wonderful. Roomy with pleasant caretaker. Csretaker lived next door. Had anything we needed. Pickle ball court. Etc. Kids had an authentic Indian tepee to enjoy. Planned coming back again.

Great house, comfortable everything. Beds, couches, recliners for napping, tables for eating. Hot days with kids running in and out all day and the A/C worked like a champ and never skipped a beat. Where I'm from that's very important. We rented both houses right next to each other with about 50 or so and never once felt crowded, or bathroom issues. Overall just a great experience. Will definitely be using again.

What a blast!!! Great family reunion on Lake Texoma. This house was perfect. We could fit 17 people around the dinner table at one time. We Loved the pickle ball court, Fire pit, pool table, connect four, ping pong and shuffle board. We did it all. Bring your boat. The lake was so much fun cruising to the islands. We will definitely be back again. The host and hostess at the property were very accommodating.

We had such an amazing time at this rental home. We traveled over memorial weekend with a large group of friends and multiple children. This house had everything we could have asked for! The home is comfortable and easily fits a large group. The kitchen had all the appliances and gadgets that we needed to cook great meals and everything worked well. All the adults got a king size bed and the kids loved the bunk beds. There were so many activities and games for the kids (and adults) that they never even asked for their iPads! The owners are so nice and attentive and really seem to enjoy sharing their property with guests. We also rented a boat and the lake access is just a short walk through the neighborhood. I cant say enough good things about this trip!

There isn’t a better place for your gathering. Stop looking. I promise this is it. The house is set up perfectly— large group meals, plenty of space, bathrooms in every room of the house. You will NOT be bored in here. We had my brother’s bachelor party here in April, and we couldn’t have asked for a better spot. The hosts are amazing, hard working, and so hospitable. They were personable, generous, quick to serve, and were never intrusive. The pickleball court/basketball court is a dream, and all of the amenities are incredible. Just save yourself the hassle of looking elsewhere.

What was a little slice of heaven off Lake Texoma! We booked both houses for a girls weekend away to play pickleball and were so impressed with the whole experience! The house is so well organized, so clean and meticulous, and has everything you need. There is so much space inside with still room for seating, pool table, ping pong, and poker table. The backyard space with the multiple fire pits, lighted pickleball, and the wonderful seated teepee was beyond our expectations! The couple who owns it was so hospitable and answered all our questions and were just so wonderful to meet! The lake is an easy 5 minute walk! Highly recommend! We will be coming back!

The set up with both homes was perfect for our large group. There was so much to do from all the games, pickleball and cooking out. The owners were very nice and taught us how to play pickleball. We highly recommend this place and plan on having future get togethers at Shepherds Lodge.
