"I liked that the people there running it was really nice! Is a nice getaway for a short stay! What I didn't like about my stay is when they gave my room that I reserved for a reason to someone else all because they didn't want to sleep in the same bed! I reserved 2 queen beds for a reason! I had 3 people in my group and there so called upgrade for me was a bed and a couch and said they would bring us some wine for staying in that upgraded room but never brought it! Then the next day had to move...

"The Cowboys Hideout is clean and well equipped. Communication with the owners was smooth and efficient. Entrance to Sequoia National Park is only a few miles away. It worked out great as a base camp for me and my son."

"This place is back in a quiet neighborhood off the main road. It is far enough away that you dont have lots of traffic, but you can sit out on the private deck area and hear the river. We loved the great kitchen for cooking. They didn’t skimp on the cheapest appliances like some places do. We loved our stay and would greatly recommend this place to anyone looking."

"We were there for 11 days in early May, the weather was about 10 degrees cooler than Fresno for our entire stay (about an hour away). It's close (1-2 hours if you take the north vs south route) to the Sequoia parks/forest, and there's a big cat sanctuary a few miles up the road. The house itself is pretty simple, but did have basic essentials (oil, condiments, several seasonings, popcorn, granola bars, coffee, tea)- enough to get you started on day 1. "Excellent!!! Our hosts tried to think of everything to make our stay comfortable. Microwave, refrigerator, a basket of snacks, dishes,and coffee and tea, We were surprised by the quality of the place. The workmanship that was put into buildin was 5 star. It is located in a great area on the side of a hill with a nice view of the mountain across the canyon. I would highly recommend this place!!!"

"Cabin was in a very good location. Close to everything, more than big enough for a family of 4. Before booking saw reviews about place not being clear and spider web's. Not the case cabin was clean and yes you saw web's around the outside, you are in the woods. Will definitely try to go back this spring. My family and I felt at home."

"We loved our time at the Knotty Cabin. I stayed with my husband and family who were visiting from Ireland. We loved the location in the park with lots of great hiking and running trails right on our doorstep. The cabin was cosy and had everything we needed and more. The only thing we wish we had known before we got up to King’s Canyon was that the grocery store up there is very limited.
