"Our stay at Rainbow Cabin was so delightful! The Cabin is beautiful, well stocked, above and beyond expectation. The owner thought of everything. They made us feel like family. No detail was missed. The interior of the cabin was clean, inviting and spacious. The large dining table is great for mealtime, playing games or catching up on some work. The beds were very comfortable. Loved the colorful whimsical artwork. The whole vibe of the house is chill and fun! Enjoyed the back yard with its nice patio and fire pit. We made s’mores. If you love hiking this is the perfect spot. Easy to more challenging hikes are just pleasant scenic drives from the cabin. Loved this area of the lake! Laid back, less congested, short walk to the beach and restaurants made it ideal for us. We will only stay at Rainbow Cabin on our future trips to Lake Tahoe. "

"Stayed June 2025 for 1 week. Home is centrally located in Kings Beach. Everything accessible by foot. Very quiet day and night. Home was well stocked. Enjoyed sitting on the deck every night BBQing. Would definitely stay again. Our host was amazing and very responsive to my several questions before and during our trip. "

"Check-in process was very smooth and instructions were clear. Frontdesk was very helpful. The property is close to public lake beach across the street (the beach has very limited sand). Room is clean with refrig, coffee machine and meal plates. "

"Our family of five had a great stay at this rental… beautiful house, clean and amazing location! Lake Tahoe is just a few feet away from the back deck! The community the house is located in is clean and safe and it’s walking distance from King’s Beach and plenty of restaurants and shops. We had to call the property’s helpline a couple times and they answered promptly and helped us right away. Only complaint would be we wished they had more extra towels, paper towels, etc on hand but that was a minor issue and we had a great stay. Definitely would recommend!"
