"Two night stay in a twin room. Although this hotel is located away from the centre of Hakodate, just a 15 min tram ride gets you into the main centre. A huge Lawson’s is located just 5 mins walk away, lots of izakayas, yakitori, and ramen shops are just 7-10 mins walk away. Very conveniently located. The rooms are reasonably sized but definitely not suited for large sized luggage’s to be opened up or even stored upright. The breakfast buffet selection was incredible and delicious. Do not miss it! The onsen facility was fantastic. Fresh towels and yukatas are provided daily. The only down side is just one pillow per bed. "

"函館の湯の川温泉街にある老舗のホテルです。リニューアルされた複数の客室棟と2箇所の温泉浴場があり、個室も綺麗で旅情緒を感じられる素敵なホテルでした。 電停の側にあるので市内観光にも行きやすく、函館駅前に比べるとひっそりとはしていますが静かで落ち着くエリアです。歩いて少しした所に湯倉神社があり、この土地の歴史を感じられます。市電で五稜郭まで15分程度、函館駅前は25分くらいです。道路の混み具合に左右されるのが市電の趣ですね。 ビュッフェスタイルの朝ごはんも北海道の海鮮やミニ塩ラーメン、和洋中のさまざまな品揃えと数日滞在しても全てを賞味できないくらいの品揃え！朝から幸せになれます。 温泉は室内、露天と完備してあり、泉質が肌にとても良くて感動ものでした。他の湯の川の温泉に比べて湯温がやや低めなので入りやすかったです。洗い場には馬油のシャンプーやボディソープが設置してあり、北海道を感じました。 スタッフの皆さんも親切丁寧で、良かったです。帰りは空港までタクシーをお願いしましたが配車も迅速で便利でした。空港からはバスで約15分+徒歩10分くらい、ややかかりますが公共交通機関でも着けます。移動の選択肢が多いのは嬉しいですね。"

"The front desk staff were extremely gracious & hospitable throughout our entire stay! They all spoke English very well. Rooms were clean, a/c worked very well, loved the area… felt safe, close to train stations, bus stops, street car stops, shopping mall, convenience stores, restaurants & sightseeing areas were a few minutes away. Will definitely stay here again! "

"This was a wonderful place to stay. Nothing can beat a private balcony Onsen/hot tub with ocean views, and the hills as well. The breakfast buffet was outstanding as well. "
