"Delightful inn with lovely views across the river and surrounding countryside. Staff are friendly, welcoming and helpful. The room, although compact, had everything we needed with ample storage for a few days clothing, a comfortable bed and tea & coffee facilities. The ensuite had a good, but not spacious, shower, however, the window was clear glass without a blind and it did feel like you were a little exposed when using the bathroom. "Lovely real ale country pub with rooms. Very rustic but with all home comforts and little extras. Great view over countryside with cows grazing nearby. Breakfast freshly cooked and generous portions. Used as overnight stay following wedding at Crowcombe court (5 mins walk) but also great for walkers etc exploring the Exmoor area. Highly recommend "

"We were greeted warmly on our arrival. Everything was explained in a friendly but professional manner. We were taken up to our room which all wasn't huge was comfortable with a tea tray and kettle. The bathroom was gorgeous. Everything was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was well organised and nothing was too much trouble for Colette and the team . The property is away from Butlins with a lovely walk either way out the property. It's very quite here. "
