"It’s very comfortable and cozy place to stay."

"As well as the usual kettle, the room had a toaster and a microwave- I really appreciate these last two. The room also had the most comfortable beds I have ever experienced in any motel or hotel - thank you!! It was too cold for a swim but the pool looked great. Good minibar, too! The motel wasn’t full and the owners staggered the guests so we had vacant rooms next door to us. This wouldn’t always be possible but we appreciated the space. A lovely place to stay!!"

"We recently stayed at Montain Manor over the weekend and overall, it was a pleasant experience. The standout feature of this property is definitely the amazing views it offers. Waking up to such a picturesque setting was truly refreshing. The outdoor trampoline was a hit with the kids—they had a blast jumping around and burning off some energy. However, one issue we encountered was the insufficient supply of hot water in the showers. This was a bit inconvenient, especially for a few families, as we had to coordinate shower times. Despite this drawback, we are considering another visit because the positives outweighed the negatives. If the hot water issue can be resolved, this place would be perfect for a relaxing getaway. Overall, it was an amazingly relaxed stay and we look forward to returning."

"3 families stayed here for a long weekend. The weather was great for swimming in the pool (waist deep and unheated but warm enough), there were ample kitchen and glassware, comfy beds and the highlight was the fire pit which we used nightly. The playground was a bit tired, and you have to bring bottled water beyond 10L provided, but the house was still brilliant for kids and adults, and we’d happily stay again."

"Easy to get to and nice and quiet"

"Highly recommended. Have always been curious about Trawool Estate having driven past it many times. It really is a lovely place with excellent rooms, friendly staff, good dining options and some great facilities (tennis, squash, pool, library etc). This was a stop on our Great Victorian Rail Trail ride which runs right past the resort and follows the Goulburn river through some beautiful country. "
