"The staffcould not be more helpful sorting out our room problem. Expedia sent us a download stating we had a ground floor room but when we arrived no room was available,we needed the room because of mobility issues so very dissapointed with Expedia. However the good people at the venue got us the room we needed next day and were wonderful to us for the whole of our stay. "

"Exceeded our expectations. Spotlessly clean, fantastic facilities, and a fabulous welcome. We stayed in Tufted Owl overlooking the High Street - a bit ‘rumbly’ if a big vehicle went past, but there’s very little traffic in town at night. The noise didn’t affect me at all. Beds were really comfortable and the breakfast was over at The Crown (we were given a breakfast card each) which was amazing. We’re definitely coming back. "

"We enjoyed our stay here. I spoke to the host on the phone as we arrived early and wanted to parking advice. He was so kind and explained in detail how to get to the car park and recommendations around Bath. The room was clean and comfortable. "Overall the property was in a great location.Flat was everything that you needed. Pity however that it was missing just a few little touches. A small bottle of milk would not have gone amiss. No salt and pepper. The TV remote control needs to be replaced. Control buttons not working . Could not get any BBC channels on free view . All small problems . The entry instructions were great and very clear. "

"We had a wonderful time, staying for four nights. We arrived to check in and were greeted so warmly that we instantly felt at home. All the staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The complementary breakfast was very good and given that the hotel was super busy, it was a thing of wonder that the kitchen and serving staff were able to keep all the options topped up and the tables quickly cleared and cleaned and ready for the next breakfasters! We found it to be quite a jolly affair. Our room was internal facing so no view but super quiet. Everything in the room was clean and comfortable, although some extra drawers would have been useful to unpack a few more things from suitcases. The hotel is in a good location and everywhere was easy to walk. It was also easy to walk to and from the bus and train stations - it's possible to visit the city of Wells by bus if you don't have a car. All in all, a very enjoyable stay that exceeded our expectations. "
