The interior living space feels large and welcoming, with an open layout, lofty ceilings, and large windows that let in the sunshine. Your guests will feel at home as they pile on the sectional, cuddle by the warmth of the wood-burning fireplace, or pop in a DVD to watch on the smart TV. Fuel up for a day of winter snow sports in the well-equipped kitchen, where you'll find a gas range, a dishwasher, and plentiful cabinet and counter space. Grab a quick morning bite at one of the two bar stools, or catch up with your friends and family over breakfast at the dining room table. And when the sun is out, or the leaves are changing, step outside on the comfortable back deck to take in the surrounding mountain and forest views.

Thanks to its marvelous location on one of the six peaks of Killington, this townhome is ideally suited for all lovers of the outdoors. In the summer, take a scenic hike along 30 miles of trails in Gifford Woods State Park, tee off on Killington's championship golf course, or admire the waterfall view on the nearby Thundering Brook Falls Trail. Come wintertime, spend your days practicing new tricks in the resort's six terrain parks, ascending Killington's peaks on 22 different chair lifts, or developing your skills on 73 miles of skiing and snowboarding trails. Nestled on the slopes of Sunrise, this bright and airy property is just steps from the beginner-level Sundog Trail. Glide easily down the mountain to reach the base of the Sunrise Village Triple Chairlift, or walk one mile along the road to try out the Bear Mountain and Skye Peak Express Quad Chairs.

Enjoy access to Falls Brook Commons, a private sports center facility at Sunrise Mountain Village. After an exciting day of hiking or skiing, relax and enjoy the indoor heated pool, hot tub, sauna, or steam room. The outdoor hot tub is available for use all year round. The Sports Center is closed for maintenance until Memorial Day weekend, 2023. However, there are three outdoor tennis courts, plus a firepit (by reservation only). All outdoor amenities are available.

THINGS TO KNOW
Amenity availability is controlled by Sunrise, not Vacasa. As such, please visit Sunrise's website for details regarding amenities. Children under the age of 12 must be chaperoned by an adult for all activities.
Wood is provided for guest use.
This property does not have air-conditioning. It's quite rare to find air-conditioning in Vermont properties. Please utilize fans in the property and open windows for a breeze.

Clean but could use updating

Clean, comfortable beds, updated bathrooms. Some of the curtains falling off rods, tricky accessing outside deck which is in need of repair. Very worn carpeting but nice big comfy sectional sofa. Bear Mt is a bit of a hike to the activities at the mountain.

Perfect Ski Vacation

My family and I had a great time in this Sunrise home. After a long 6 hour drive, we entered a perfectly cleaned home. The house is very spacious. Everyone was able to spread out and watch the game (Eagles beat the Niners). We appreciated the free logs and immediately started a nice fire in the fireplace. The beds were comfortable. The bathrooms were very clean. The absolute plus is definitely the ski on / ski off access to the Sunrise Trail. The trail was nicely groomed. We were on our way to the main lodge, which was great! We also had a chance to check out the clubhouse and used the hot tub, sauna, and indoor pool. This was a plus after a long day of skiing. We hope to stay in this home again next year.

Overall great

The house was spacious and clean. Lovely views and lots of sun. Plenty of towels, extra bedding, etc. Bathrooms recently updated. Kitchen circa 1980s, but totally functional and well stocked with utensils, plates, etc. Location is a little far from main Killington (12-15 min drive to main mountain and about 20 to town and restaurants.) There was not info or clear marking about where to ski in and out, but once we found, it was convenient. NOTE: Long run back to house at end of day so leave on earlier side before it gets icy and dark. The club house with Jacuzzi and pool is also nice, but you need to drive a few minutes or park there in the AM and take lift, ski back to it at end of day. Except for note to bring your own towels, there was not info in the house about sports complex and where to find it and if we needed proof we were staying there, etc. We were there before and just left as President's weekend and school vacation crowds were getting there Fri./Sat. and started to get very crowded. Ski in/out -- Our main disappointment is that they did not tell us the apt is actually on the second floor and there was very little space for skis and boots and coats/gear if you are more than four people. You need to go down a small of stairs and then up two flights to the second floor in ski boots and lugging skis and poles or just leave then in your car as we wound up doing. but then we needed to take them out again when we went out at night. Inconvenient, but not a big deal. ALSO, Vicasa didn't bother to tell us ( and should have ) that the day we arrived there was a problem with the pool and jacuzzi and they had to drain both, so we not only lost a day of use, but when they were finally filled up the pool was too cold to swim in. Given the price to rent and part of the reason we took this place, a discount would be nice...not to mention clarity on ski in /out and distance to lift and to main mountain. In fairness, Killington is huge.

Location is everything.

Enjoyed our two week stay in East Glade condo. Loved being high on the mountain with easy acess to all Killington has to offer. While the condo is a bit dated it was very clean and there are plenty of beds to accommodate a big family. This is a ski in-ski out condo!!

Sunrise

Great location but for the $ we paid, condo outdated and not very clean. The carpet throughout completely stained, the couch very old nail sticking out of parts of it. We tried using the vacuum to clean up, and their vacuum was broke it was actually spitting dirt back on the carpet. The two bathrooms were completely remodeled which was very nice, and the beds were very comfortable and all clean.

2019 Winter Ski Trip

House was in a great location and as advertised. 4 minute drive to Bear mountain and 10 mins to Skyship gondola. If whole mountain is open, you can ski right in and out but unfortunately it wasn’t during our stay. The kitchen was well equipped with everything needed and all bedrooms were nicely maintained. Check in and out were smooth and easy. Wood shed has plenty of firewood, would recommend bringing kindling and paper to help start fire if you wish. Overall, house was great for our group of 9 and slept all comfortably.

Comfortable, spacious condo with ski-in, ski-out convenience

Our group of five senior men was very comfortable in this unit, with plenty of living and sleeping accommodations, and a well-equipped kitchen. It is conveniently located in Sunrise Village, with ski-in, ski-out access to Sundog Trail for an easy start to the skiing day, and lunches in the condo. The kitchen had everything we needed for five days of meal preparation.

Loved it. Great location. All the kitchen stuff you need. We were there for Super Bowl 52 Sunday, and would have liked a bigger tv in the living room. Place has a nice layout for 3 couples, or parents with 4 kids.

Loved the ski on/off. You could get to the entire mountain from the condo. Kitchen was well stocked with dishes and utensils. Beds were comfortable. We where there for the Super Bowl, so would have liked a bigger flat screen in the main living area, but it was ok. We would return.

Great ski weekend
