"We stayed for 1 night DB&B mid-week having seen the hotel on a Scottish TV programme. We were not disappointed, the setting is lovely, all the staff and family very friendly so it almost feels like home from home. There is an extensive gin and whisky drinks selection, and the food is simply wonderful. Good choice and beautifully prepared by their renowned chef. We enjoy fine dining regularly and we will be back with foodie friends. We had chosen to stay in a Garden Room rather than in the main building and it was immaculate. Imaginatively decorated like the rest of the hotel in a contemporary Scottish style without the need for yards of tartan yet still very in keeping. We were lucky with the weather and were able to sit outside our room in the evening taking in the tranquillity and view. We will be back!"

Great central location to visit many different places. A big thank you to Neill and Paula who replied quickly and was very accomodating, especially with checking in a day early and getting a plumber in very quickly for a fault that occured during stay."
