"We had the most wonderful stay in Katie's Cottage. We met the lovely host Caroline on arrival and we couldn't have gotten a warmer welcome. There was fresh scones with jam and butter and a bottle of wine in the fridge. The house was absolutely immaculate with loads of fresh towels and bed linen. "What a wonderful hotel! A little bit of a retro feel that is modern and impeccably clean. Staff was so welcoming, and parking behind the hotel and gated overnight gave us additional peace of mind. "We stayed for 8 days so a much longer stay than usual. The staff are lovely including Reception, housekeeping and breakfast room. We had a lovely room at the end of the corridor so we were rarely disturbed. Enjoyed the breakfast done to order. The car park can be tricky as there aren’t a long of spaces but the overflow suits us fine too. Environmentally, we bring our own toiletries so do not use the complimentary packs apart from a bar of soap. Towels replaced daily so it would be good to know where to keep towels if you don’t want them replaced. "
