Trudy has painstakingly restored the look and feel of an elegant Ireland farm home and property, complete w antique fixtures and accessories. Fear not, there's plenty of modern conveniences (microwave, wifi - albeit weak, etc) but that's no fun."

"We had a wonderful time at Murphys Hotel, room was beautiful and spacious it was spotlessly clean, and breakfast was really lovely, a good choice of continental and a full irish which was delicious. We had evening meals here too and it's a big thumbs up to the chef. Also the owner and staff were were friiendly. Everything was great."

"We ( two families with 2 children under 6 each) stayed here for a long weekend. We loved the proximity to the beach, to the view as well as cows and sheep, and access to the beach bar which was excellent. The house though plenty large enough for us, was very open, which meant sounds travelled ( babies crying either early in the morning or late at night). It was cozy and had all that we needed. Host was so lovely and helpful, easy to reach if we needed anything."

"We had a lovely stay at the ocean sands hotel. We're a family of five and the kids really enjoy they're stay, we only stayed one night but would of loved to stay longer. Location is gorgeous, hotel is right next to the beach so excellent for little ones. Had dinner in the restaurant which was stunning, prices were great for the quality of food we were served. My only negative is that our room was fairly cold when we arrived but it warmed up quick enough once we put on the heaters. Lovely hotel staff in all areas. Id definitely recommend a stay here."
