My boyfriend and i had a very nice stay here at Turtle Tides ! although we stayed out of season, the property was clean and gorgeous and the views from the deck did not disappoint ! we had a little trouble getting in and Gene was very attentive and took the time to talk us through getting in quickly and kindly. Gene’s wife also made us some beautiful glasses to remember our stay! Overall 10/10, we’ll be booking again !

My wife and I stayed in this vacation rental while we ran the OBX marathon. Absolutely beautiful get away spot. Perfectly located for great dining. While recovering from the race we enjoyed watching movies with the ocean in view from the couch. Definitely a great place to relax and enjoy the outer banks.

Turtle Tides is a great 3rd floor penthouse for two. We enjoyed the full kitchen, direct beach access from our private deck and the great views. No need to walk down the stairs to the beach, just walk out and enjoy a hot cup of tea listening to the ocean waves from the balcony. Also Gene’s picks for places to eat are spot on! Will be going back for sure!

Perfect spot, right on the KDH / NH line. Direct beach access from the balcony is amazing. Place was as advertised and very clean upon arrival. Gene even hooked us up with some Turtle Tides coffee mugs, a great subnet to remember the great time our family had!

The turtle tides is a wonderful place to stay. Clean, tidy, and an awesome view. Gene and Holly went above and beyond to make sure our stay was the best it could possible be. My family had a great time and will definitely be returning in the future! Would highly recommend to anyone!

The property was beautiful and the view was spectacular! Our stay was relaxing and just what we wanted it to be. Neighbors were few but friendly and the penthouse was all we could ask for. Being in our late 60's the steps gave us a run for our money, but we got our daily excercise! We would rent it again.

The condo is decorated so nicely in the beach/turtle theme and is a very pleasant place to stay! We loved having coffee in the morning on the deck while watching the sunrise over the ocean and being able to walk right out onto the beach. The view is wonderful. The location is centrally located to explore both North and South parts of the outer banks and within walking distance to many restaurants. The owner was very responsive, and checked in several times over our short 3 days to to be sure all was perfect for our stay. We can't wait to bring family back next time! Be aware that the there are a fair amount of stairs to climb to get in, so those with mobility issues may have trouble

The property was beautiful, well decorated in adorable turtles, right on the ocean, very private balcony, beautiful views, fireplace. We had everything we needed. The owner communicated with us to make sure it was up to 5 star level and it was! Easy access. Perfect OBX location. We highly recommend this property. It was our first VRBO.

Gene and Holly were very friendly and assisted our tv issue very quickly. We would definitely recommend this little piece serenity. We will definitely go back again! Our vacation was everything I had hoped for. The condo was beautifully decorated, very comfortable and clean. The views from the deck are amazing. We watched dolphins swimming in the ocean from our deck. Gene, the host, did an excellent job of preparing us for our visit by providing clear instructions, great recommendations and was available if we needed anything. This was my first time using VRBO as we always used hotels on vacation. I am sold, the warm home environment and thoughtful preparation of the condo beats a hotel. We will be back!
