"We stayed at the Cypress House Inn in August 2026, I really can't say enough good things about our stay. We had personalized service from the moment we walked in, and by the time we left, Bill and Veda had us feeling like family! My mom, sister and I stayed in the loft, and it was the perfect size for us - plenty of room, and so thoughtfully appointed: dishes, silverware, even wine glasses (guess they knew we were coming!), a full refrigerator, microwave, sink, Keurig (and even provided coffees, creamers, tea, etc). The room itself probably could have used a little more light, but it was comfortable and decorated nicely, not over-the top like some B&Bs, and thoughtful touches in the bathroom as well! And the (included) breakfasts were amazing - always starting with fresh fruit, different kinds of coffees and teas, and better food than I've had in any hotel restaurant! The house itself is in great shape, very well-maintained, though the stairs to the loft are probably due for a little paint - but sea air will do that quickly. Otherwise, it was the highlight of our visit to the Outer Banks, and we'll probably find reasons to come back there, just to stay at the Cypress House Inn! Highly recommend!!!"

"Clean small hotel. Stuff is very nice . Only thing I did not like no elevator, also they expect you to leave place clean . I don't have that problem but feel pressure bc they will charge you when you leave . Also I can understand they want that place stays clean and people get as. drunk there and destroy place . I was there with my son so I dont have that kind problem but I was still feel pressure what can I use and what can't am I going to be charge ,did I do something wrong. That's only thing. But yeah clean place to stay"

"Blown away by everything. The location and beautiful ocean views! The space was perfect for the 6 of us. We plan on coming back next year and getting a 3 bedroom and bringing more people! Absolutely loved everything!!"
