  • Welcome to The Blue Oasis, a cozy beach vacation getaway located in the heart of Kill Devil Hills, NC. We are proud to offer:

    * non-smoking, pet-free cottage
    * 5 min. walk to the beach
    * close to Nags Head and all the favorite attractions
    * 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms (sleeps 10)
    * ground floor entrance with 2 queen beds and 1 full bathroom downstairs
    * 1 queen bedroom and 1 kids' room with pyramid bunk and extra twin bed, and 1 full bathroom upstairs
    * fully stocked kitchen

    Lots of extra amenities including:
    * hot tub
    * fenced-in private backyard
    * cowboy children's pool 9' in diameter, 28" to water line
    * fire pit
    * Blackstone propane griddle
    * outdoor sectional sofa with shade canopy
    * hammock
    * clothesline
    * picnic table
    * swing
    * shed full of beach chairs and other beach equipment
    * outdoor shower stall

    We are happy to include:

    **Due to the serious allergies of some of our most frequent guests, we do not allow any animals at our property.
    **PLEASE NOTE: The guest making the reservation must be at least 25 years old and must be among the group staying at The Blue Oasis.This cottage is for non-smokers only, both inside as well as outside on our property, due to the severe allergies of owners as well as frequent guests. No work crews are allowed to rent this property. $500 security deposit hold is required upon booking. Please read entire listing and all additional rules before making a reservation.

Host was very, very easy to work with. Property is in a prime location, convenient to everything. Amenities were excellent. Just an overall great experience. Will do it again in a heartbeat.

The house was very clean and well-stocked, and located in a convenient location! A five minute walk to the beach, plus Target is very close by for quick runs to the store. Our host was very communicative and quick to respond, which I really appreciated. The beach equipment was also super helpful, especially the wagon. We had a great time!

Quiet, relaxing, and cozy

Super amazing stay! We had just the right amount of space, a kitchen to cook with, a dining table to eat and play games on and a very comfy couch to relax and watch tv on. The bedrooms were spacious and welcoming, and the bathrooms very clean and orderly. There are many nooks in the house that make it feel welcoming. We only used the hot tub once and it was very luxurious! My group and I agreed that the best part was the distance to the beach! Every day we were able to walk with our gear to the beach and come and go as we pleased, no clown cars needed :) We definitely will consider staying here again!!!

This was the perfect place for our family! Beautiful home, well furnished, great location with beach just minutes away. Definitely recommend this home as a place to spend your vacation!

Great house

Really nice and well appointed. Kids loved the large play area and games, and we all really enjoyed the hot tub and black stone grill

Great place for summer with family.

Our family enjoyed this place in Outer Banks. The localization is great, walking distance from the beach. Lauralee was a great host, she is always accessible.

We enjoyed our stay

Place was clean, check in process was smooth, and backyard with a fire pit was a nice feature. I'd recommend this as an option for someone staying in the area.

This cottage was perfect for my family’s 5 night stay. Very clean, great location and outdoor space, plus an easy walk to the beach. Cottage was well stocked with everything we could possibly need and we especially loved having the beach cart and chairs to take to the beach. Lauralee provided lots of helpful info, great recommendations, and we didn’t have any problems at all during our stay. We had a great vacation and would definitely stay here again!

Blue Oasis is a wonderful place to stay. Check in was easy and owners are wonderful. They are very helpful. The kitchen is setup with everything you would need to prepare your meals. Oasis away from home

This was our first trip to the Outer Banks. It did not disappoint. The Blue Oasis was a home away from home with everything we could possibly need. The walk to the beach was easy and also a short walk to many great restaurants and attractions. It was the perfect way to spend our Independence Day.

Great location

House had everything we needed. Great location for dining, beach access and plenty of space for family activities. Kitchen stocked with everything you need to cook and the backyard pool keeps the kids entertained after a long day at the beach. Highly recommend this house.

OBX Vacation

Blue Oasis was as advertised - a clean and cute house close to the beach and other activities. We enjoyed our brief stay in the OBX area. Often proximity to beaches bring noise yet this neighborhood was great. Thankful to Lauralee for making this a relaxing and activity-filled stay for us.

GREAT stay!!!

I booked the stay for friends/family members and they loved everything about it! The home is so nice and clean, and the proximity to the beach is amazing. There's also a ton to do area. A special thanks to the hosts, who were incredibly caring and attentive!

Serenity

The blue oasis was the perfect getaway for my family to enjoy the beach for a week. We loved all the amenities from the hot tub to the proximity to the beach and shopping. We have raved about our experience to friends and family. Highly recommend!

Wonderful rental with amazing backyard!

This rental was perfect for our girls getaway, the Hardings have put so much time and thought into providing a home away from home. The layout of the house is perfect and is much more spacious than the pictures show. I loved the cozy backyard, the decor, very quiet area, and of course the beach. Can't wait to go back 🌴🌺

Charming beach home

I can not express how much we enjoyed our stay! The house is absolutely perfect! The owners have thought of everything, from cooking, playing, relaxing and enjoying the beach! It was a much needed getaway and we would book again in a heartbeat!!

Nice amenities.

Coffee and snacks available for our use. Nice to have linens and extras supplied. Location is close to the beach yet away from the traffic. Kids games and book good to have on hand. Enjoyable stay.

We had a wonderful stay in this cozy cottage. Each bedroom had comfortable beds and beautiful decor. Plenty of space for everyone to enjoy themselves. The kitchen has all the cooking items you may need. The cottage is just a short walk to the beach, and you can also relax in the hot tub out back. There is a Target within walking distance as well if you forget anything. Everything about this place is perfect. We would definitely stay here again. We were lucky to have found it!

Fantastic Stay

Can't recommend this place enough. Exactly what my friends and I were looking for over a long weekend. Property manager was very helpful as well. 5 stars, highly recommended.
