"The Pembroke Hotel is in a wonderful location in the center of Kilkenny. There is free parking but it is a bit tricky if you have a large vehicle. Rooms were clean and the beds comfortable. Easy walk to many restaurants, pubs and the castle."

"The Hatch, which is part of this business and across the parking lot, is lovely and has a delicious breakfast offering. The rooms are clean and new. Mild disturbances with doors slamming shut, but overall a very affordable and nice stay."

"Overall fine, however there is no air conditioning. I was told it’s a rarity in most Irish hotels - and even their homes. They did provide a fan on request. Bed somewhat hard for my curvy body. The included breakfast was great - full Irish breakfast if you want."
