"The Club House Hotel is in the centre of Kilkenny. It is old and funky with winding hallway and staircases. It takes you back in time. Staff wonderful (allowed an early checkin), parking super convenient and overall a great location to explore Kilkenny. If you are looking for new and modern this is not the place for you. If you want an unique/fun experience check it out. We would stay there again."

"Nice hotel, arrived early but in the end was after 2pm once got given a room which was actually a I gather for disabled but ok. What I was surprised by was the rudeness of the night porter whose role is to let you in after midnight, the comment ‘what’s wrong with the door over there’ silly me I thought the buzzer at the main entrance was how you entered a hotel!! So apart from get rid of night porters with unnecessary attitude it would have been a nice stay."

Great hotel in great location
"A thoroughly enjoyable stay in a fantastic boutique hotel. From the great welcome at check in from Ciara (who is a wonderful balance of professional, genuine, and fun) everything about this hotel exceeded my expectations. Building is quite grand and rooms although a little small have all the facilities you need. The bar serves great food, combined with live local music in the evenings. This hotel gives you a great welcome and its central location makes sightseeing around Kilkenny easy. "
