"Our room was comfortable and quiet…except the squeaky floor, but c’mon, the place was built in 1700. The staff was fantastic. Stefan was the check in guy, and the bartender. He was super friendly and helpful, and had a great sense of humor! The food was delicious. We had the lamb shank and burger one night, along with breakfast the next morning. We had the fish and chips, and the burger the 2nd night, all of which were fantastic! The bar…the bar is the reason we booked, and it didn’t disappoint! We drank and chatted with the other customers both evenings and tried different whiskeys. We had great conversations with people from the US, England, Germany, and of course, the bartender, Stephan from Italy! "
