Quiet, comfortable and across from gorgeous Charley Young beach

  • Clean, quiet unit on second floor with pretty garden view and shade on the lanai throughout the day so never too hot to sit outside. Perfect for morning coffee, lunch and evening libations! Quiet master bedroom with king size bed, no traffic noise, just birdsong. Large closet. Sofa bed with memory foam mattress in living room. Smart TV's in the living room and master bedroom, and wifi throughout the unit. Fully equipped kitchen, and bathroom with walk in shower. In suite washer and dryer. Kid friendly pools, and outdoor BBQs. Spectacular tennis courts, and great location for jogging and cycling (bike paths and shops throughout Kihei). Beautiful grounds with security on site and helpful office staff. Across the street from an amazing golden sand beach (Charley Young Beach / Kamaole Beach 1). Unit contains beach chairs and towels, umbrella, cooler, snorkel gear and boogie board - what you need for a fun day at the beach!
    Amazing walk-in snorkeling near this location. Great access to tours for Molokini island, and you can walk to a convenience store. Only a 15 minute drive to world-famous Makena Beach, or take some more time and explore the beautiful volcano behind us. Haleakala, the House of the Sun, looks down on the Maui Vista. Drive up to the summit or take a day trip to Hana on the far side of Haleakala. Also an easy drive to west Maui, where you can catch a ferry to Lanai.
    But you will love just hanging out in Kihei - it has everything! And this is the place to learn how to surf on the island of Maui - 1 block to surfing central. Great restaurants and shopping.

We really enjoyed our stay at this condo. It is so conveniently close to some fabulous beaches and walking distance to a number of great restaurants, shave ice, and shopping. Beach access is right across the street. The condo has pretty much everything you need and also includes beach chairs, umbrella, cooler, ice packs for the cooler, and boogie board.

We loved this place!! Great location. There were beach chairs and towels that we could use. Also loved the washer and dryer in the condo. It was very handy!!

You can’t beat Maui Vista for easy access to Kihei beaches, restaurants, etc. The unit itself is a bit run down and could use a good deep cleaning. Having grown up in Kihei, I know how that red dirt can coat things, but I found myself scrubbing grime build up off of door frames, light switches and walls. We wound up handwashing dishes because the dishwasher was so dingy and didn’t properly clean or dry. More available cleaning supplies might help guests keep the space cleaner while visiting. If you’re looking for a basic place to sleep in a prime location, this unit should do the trick.

Maui Vista Rocks

The apartment was hot in the bedroom. The AC was in the family room which did nothing to the sleeping quarter. The bedroom window opened to the hallway, which did nothing to cool down the room.

Maui Vista has been our go to accommodation for Kihei. Best beach is across the street, walkable to eateries both north and south. This unit was great, only minor negative was the AC was a little oldier and a bit noisy but kept the place cool.

The apartment was nicely furnished with the proper amenities. The host was mostly responsive but a little slow. However they were able to take care of all our concerns.

Overall we really enjoyed our stay at this condo. The location was very walkable to nearby restaurants and grocery stores, and it was a 5 minute walk to the beach where we could swim and saw sea turtles. The AC unit is in the living room, so you probably need to run it for awhile to reach the bedroom, but we were fine with it mostly off in mid-May. Parking was really easy and it was nice to have the in-unit laundry. The condo had a lot of beach towels and assorted beach gear available which was really nice. Our only complaint would be the cleanliness of the floors. They request that you don't wear shoes inside (which is reasonable), but our feet became blackened with dirt from walking around the apartment barefoot. Everything else seemed very clean, so this was a bit odd.

Great place to stay in Maui

Overall a great place to stay in Maui, it’s in a good location to travel to all areas of Maui. Lots of places to shop and eat. There is a nice beach within walking distance. The place is nice and clean.
