Swim, lounge, and snorkel at the fabulous Mana Kai Maui Resort, the jewel at the end of one of Maui’s best beaches! The Mana Kai Maui Resort uniquely offers all the advantages of a condo vacation, but with the added amenities of a resort hotel. Choose from condominium or hotel-style accommodations. The condominiums include one and two-bedroom suites, complete with well-equipped kitchens and private lanais. In-room safes and free high-speed WiFi access are also available. Comfortable hotel-style suites with full baths are also available just steps away from the ocean. You'll also have access to two gas grills and laundry facilities available on the property. While our amenities do not include poolside towel service, our condo and hotel suites are equipped with beach towels for use at the pool and beach. Take advantage of the resort atmosphere with special features including free parking, a pool, open air dining with lounge, yoga classes with Maui Yoga Path, a fitness center, an activities center, a gift shop, a general store, a business center with computers, and conference/meeting facilities.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

This condo has spectacular views of the sea and palms from everywhere in the condo - through wall sized open doors. The kitchen and bath are updated and the kitchen has everything you’d need. The bed was comfortable while you sleep and wake to the sounds of ocean. Mana Kai is on a great stretch of beach for walking, snorkeling, and swimming. The 7 Palms restaurant on site is mediocre, but the bar has gorgeous views and a great happy hour. There's also a small market and activity rentals right there on the property. Our only complaints are that this unit does not have the bar-height table and chairs on the lanai that we especially like so you're not looking at railing bars when sitting outside, there was no live network news or sports available on the TV (only streaming channels), there was a termite infestation in the kitchen, and no beach chairs or umbrella for renters to use to sit on sand. The resort does however provide beach chairs on the lawn with some shade at certain times of the day - and with no fee like some of the bigger resorts charge. Overall, Mana Kai is the perfect mid-size resort with everything you need, and without the crowds, fees and noise of the larger resorts. The building blocks muchof the wind that arises in the afternoons in that part of the island, and it's close to both Wailea and South Kihei for shopping and dining.

A positive experience overall.

Well maintained refurbished unit with excellent view on a lovely beach with good quality snorkeling. Unit is above pool so be prepared for some (happy) family noise. One broken deck chair. Some cabinets were not cleaned to remove sand from prior renter. Sheers but not curtains on the windows - odd- so we were up at sunrise every morning. Mana Kai staff doing their best recognizing the wear and tear on their disposition from managing a service experience for guests at a property that is next to a public beach and public access way.

Location

Great location. Beautiful view and venue. While visiting I attended a wedding on the property and ate at the restaurant 5 palms multiple times. Great food and excellent service. Everything is available in the condo that you would need to enjoy a long stay and cook for yourself. I would recommend this condo to anyone looking to visit Maui.

Termites.

Termites everywhere. In the bathroom, kitchen, in the wells of the sliders, hanging from the curtains on our bed and most importantly in my WEDDING DRESS. This stay sadly ruined my honeymoon. I wish vacasa and the mana Kai would of handled this matter better.

Love the room..needs to be cleaner

The bed was comfy...the kitchen well equipped. The view was beyond awesome. The floor was dirty. Really dirty in spots. The bathroom had a bunch of bugs. Like a small swarm. We tried to plug in a panini maker and the plug and cord started to smell like melting plastic. Not sure if it was the panini maker or the wall outlet. We also had issues checking in. They gave us 2 different codes for the outside door...one in email and one via text. And neither one opened the inside door to the unit. We had to call and have someone find us a code to get in. The location is awesome. For this reason we would stay again But I would stay in this unit again
