Maui temperatures seem to keep going up so please note Kama'ole Sands 1-405 has a "three zone split air conditioning system". When the trade winds aren't blowing, you'll be glad 1-405 will be a cool place for you to recharge for the next day!

So, Kama'ole Sands. This is a great resort in a great area; and it's across the street from one of Maui's best beaches. If you are looking for a beach resort to create Maui memories, this is the place.

Yes, the picture of the courtyard and ocean was taken from the 4th floor lanai of our building one Hawaiian retreat. The view of the fountains, gardens and ocean is spectacular from our relaxing vacation home.

Once you visit this beautiful complex you will see why we emphasize the building one location. Close to everything in the complex, but far enough away to not hear the beach traffic.

Little extras make for better memories. Our assigned parking is in front of our building, many are not. Building one is conveniently located near the administration building, tennis courts and barbecue area. Oh yes, we are just seconds away from the pool area but not so close that you'll hear the noise.

Our Hawaiian home comes furnished.* We have a full size washer and dryer, a queen bed and bathroom on the main floor, a king bed and bathroom in the loft area and a queen sofa sleeper in the living room along with TV's in the loft, main floor bedroom and a new (Dec. 2023) TV in the living room.

A perfect family vacay

Can’t say enough about how much we loved our stay! The condo was perfect for us. The beds were so comfortable even the pull out! The proximity to the beach and resort amenities made it an unforgettable trip! Will be back!

Beautiful setting right across from the ocean

The grounds and buildings were well taken care of. Many beautiful flowers and birds visited the area. Sunsets were easy to view and outstanding.

Perfect condo in perfect location

Couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay in Maui. The condo had access to pool, hot tubs, tennis courts, and beautiful landscaping. It’s just a few minutes walk to the beach with great snorkeling and sunsets. Condo was clean and had a great patio for morning coffee.

Amazing location and facility

A great place to stay! It’s right across from the beach, the complex is very well maintained and manicured. The unit was well outfitted with everything that we needed, beach chairs, towels and umbrellas. We added a couple of boogie boards to the unit’s inventory.

Great condo for 2 couples or a family - lots of space. Condo was clean, very well equipped and the view from the Lanai is fantastic. Property manager is very helpful and checks with you regularly to ensure everything is OK. We would definitely stay here again

Lovely place to stay in Kihei

This is our second time staying in this particular suite at Kamaole Sands. It’s perfect for families and slept our family of four (kids aged 5 and 2) nicely. The unit has a/c but was not needed during our stay in Nov/Dec as in the evening with the windows open the breeze is perfect. Great location, great suite, and great communication with the host.

Home away from home

Always love. the grounds of Kamaole Sands!!! The condo was great, all that it was listed to be. First time staying in building 1 and enjoyed the closeness to the beach. Great communication from the property management. Can't wait to get back next year.

Fantastic maui location

We had some difficulty with the room code but it was resolved. Only suggestion would be to make it clear who else has the code on late arrival. We are new to vrbo so partly our fault. Overall this is an amazing place with all things needed. Beautiful view. Great place. Comfy beds. Lots to do.

We came for my son's wedding and between the brides family and ours we had about 6 rooms. Fun times

Very nice! One thing was it was very hot when we opened the doors and after traveling from Florida we were disappointed. Once we figured out the air-conditioning we were relieved. All was great.

Perfect for family with teenagers

The condo was perfect for my husband and I and our 2 teenagers. They had their own space and bathroom and could go to the beach or pool and do what they liked while my husband and I could explore or go on hikes. Having a washer and dryer as well as A/C was the icing on the cake! Area restaurants were a short walk away. The property manager, Larry, was extremely accommodating allowing us to check in early.
