Kamaole Sands 3-104 has some features that separate it from other condos and make it a great choice for your vacation:
1) The lanai is not only oversized and covered, but it also faces SW. This means you ALWAYS have the choice between full sun or full shade. It is on the ground floor, so the lanai spills out onto the lawn.
2) The pool entrance is literally a short walk across the lawn.
3) A brand new MINI-SPLIT AC SYSTEM was installed in MAY 2023
4) The SOFA SLEEPER is brand new as of May 2023
5) Tad and Kathy also own VRBO #2695811 ( 30+ 5-Star Reviews), a 3 bedroom unit in Kamaole Sands. Book them together for your larger family function

Kamaole Sands is a mini-paradise with 15 acres of lush landscaped ponds, fountains and foliage. Amenities include a large swimming pool, a wading pool for children, two hot tubs, four tennis courts, an exercise room, ping pong tables, activities desk, and multiple barbecue areas throughout the property. Our 1 bedroom 2 bath unit on the ground floor of Building 3 is located in the heart of Kamaole Sands Resort.

We want you to feel the comforts of home, yet the luxury of a resort. Enjoy your favorite shows on one of our SMART TV's and prepare your favorite meals in the fully equipped kitchen. For the beach, we provide towels, chairs, umbrellas, coolers, and snorkel gear.

Kamaole Sands is conveniently located close to shopping, the world-class golf courses of Wailea, and great restaurants! Water activities include swimming, fishing, snorkeling, boogie boarding, paddle boarding, and kayaking.

Fantastic space and great location

The amenities were fantastic both in the suite and in the resort. The host provided much more than expected, from beach chairs, umbrellas and boogie boards to tupperware, sandwich bags and playing blocks for my young daughter.. the space was updated with a wa heat pump air conditioner which was a must have.

A Lovely Hawaiian Stay with Great Decor

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here! It took us a little while to figure out the internet connection (the modem had been unplugged), but once that was sorted, everything was smooth. The place was very clean, except for some mold in the washer. Other than that, everything was great. The sofa bed wasn’t as comfortable as the main bed, but it was fine for a few nights. Overall, the unit was a lovely place to stay – I especially loved the interior and decor, which really gave it a Hawaiian feel. I could tell the owner has great taste!

Wonderful stay

I had an amazing stay at this vacation rental in Kihei! The location was absolutely beautiful, with easy access to stunning beaches and gorgeous sunsets. The condo itself was spacious, well-maintained, and stocked with everything we needed, from kitchen supplies to beach gear. The amenities were fantastic, especially the nice pool, which was perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. I would highly recommend this rental to anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient spot in Maui!

Perfect for kids!

This place was perfect for us and our 1 year old. She lived running in the grass right outside and the pool was a nice short walk. The place was very nice and comfortable. Would highly recommend!

The perfect vacation home !

This was our first ever visit to Maui and thanks to Tad and Kathy for making our stay the most memorable. The apartment is beautifully decorated and the smallest details taken care of. Kitchen is very well equipped and appliances in great shape. The beach essentials were a BIG plus ! The location of the apartment in the resort is great with easy access to the pool. We drove around a lot in Maui and found Kihei to be the best with respect to services, shops and restaurants. All in all, a perfect 10 to this Super host !!

Exceptional!!

From our arrival until the day we left this was the perfect place to stay. This condo is so well stocked with everything you will need for cooking your meals to enjoying a day on the beach. The grounds and pool at the Kamaole Sands are well cared for it is a beautiful property. Being able to simply walk to the beach is also a plus. I can’t say enough of how much we enjoyed our recent vacation here and will stay here again.

Loved our stay

This condo was even better than we had hoped, we really enjoyed our honeymoon here! It’s a great location at Kamaole Sands, close to the pool and other amenities and just a short walk to the beach. The unit itself was clean and inviting, beautifully decorated, and well equipped. The only thing I missed having was a safe to store our valuables and passports. Everything else in the unit was perfect with lots of extra thoughtful touches for guests. would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone looking to rent a superior unit! We just returned from our stay in Kihei! Great location for kids with easy access to some great beaches. The owners of this property were fantastic. Great communication! This condo had everything you will need to feel comfortable. Highly recommend and would return!

Amazing unit!

Loved this unit. Great location to pool and beach. The main bed was very comfortable. The entire condo was exceptionally clean. Only down side was that the pull out sofa for the kids was very thin and the kids could feel the frame. However we made it work and would definitely book this unit again and can’t wait. 🤗

Pictures don’t do justice

We had a really good experience staying here. It’s a very nice property and being on the first floor close to pool and the parking lot was just the icing on the cake. We had an infant with us and they got a lot of walking space, it’s quite spacious too. We liked it had 2 full bathrooms, me and my husband could get ready separately and save time to go out for sightseeing. The host has made sure that everything is quite independent and mentioned things in the checking list. They respond fast too while you are staying so that was helpful too. Highly recommended!!

Perfect!

My husband and I, along with our two teenagers stayed at Tad and Kathy's condo for 6 nights and it completely exceeded our expectations. The location was great and the condo itself was clean and had everything we needed for a fantastic vacation. It was so wonderful to have access to the beach chairs and supplies. Tad and Kathy were also wonderful hosts and very communicative. Overall a 10 out of 10 experience! Highly Recommend!

Flight change accomodation

We grabbed this last minute as our flights were delayed. And our parents were in another unit here. Between us we stayed in 2 other units at the Kamoale Sands and will say that this unit was by far the best in cleanliness, stocking of everyday products and condiments, and general condition. We would recommend this unit as it implies a pride of ownership which was impressive.

Wonderful Anniversary Stay

My husband and I came to Maui to celebrate our one year anniversary. We got married in Oahu. We love Hawaii ❤️ Our stay here was great. The place was nicely decorated, spacious, clean, comfortable and location was ideal. It is centrally located about 45 minutes to Paia (very cute town)/beginning to Road of Hana. We enjoyed a whale watching excursion, leaving out of Lahaina, also about 45 minutes away. First time in Kihei and we loved it. About 1.5 miles to many good food options and shopping. Beach right across the street from the condo. Can also walk right across the lawn to the entrance of the pool. We will definitely be coming back, already planning for later this summer.

Incredible Kam Sands Location

Tad’s place is incredible. I’ve stayed at several Kam Sands locations and this might be my favorite. AC in the bedroom, AC in the front. Ground level right next to the pool is so convenient. Amenities are prime. Location is updated and clean. They have the best beach and travel items!! Tommy Bahama chairs, coolers, umbrellas, snorkel gear, chargers for your phone in the bedroom, well stocked kitchen, beach towels, updated dishwasher and fridge!! Two things to note that I wish I would have known— they don’t have shampoo or conditioner in the shower. I had to go to the store for that as I’m used to that being in VRBOs. And this location is right next to the elevator. I brought ear plugs but something to note if you’re a light sleeper. Incredible location and space. Pride of ownership and a lovely location.

Great condo in great location!

My family and I (2 adults, 2 kids) stayed here for 5 nights in August 2023. We had a wonderful time! The condo was exactly as advertised and well stocked with everything we needed for a comfortable stay - the kitchen had plenty of everything you could ever need, there were beach chairs, umbrellas, sand toys, a cooler, beach towels to use. I also noticed a pack and play in the closet (although we did not need) and there were multiple family games to play. The owners were easy to communicate with and the check in process was easy. The condo is located in a great community - the pool is just across the grass from the condo patio and there were always chairs and loungers available. The chairs on the patio are super comfortable so perfect for having lunch outside. The beach is a short walk to the edge of the complex and then across the street, and there are plenty of restaurants and cafes within walking distance or a 5 minute drive. There was even an activities desk who provided very good discounts on external activities and tours. Overall, I would definitely recommend this condo for a family vacation in Maui!

Fabulous in every way!

I stayed here with my 17 year old daughter after her high school graduation. We had an amazing stay and will definitely be returning. The property is directly across the street from the Kamole III. We walked across everyday and for every sunset. The grounds are beautifully maintained. To get to the pool, just walk out the back slider and across the lawn. There are two hot tubs (one for adults only). Pool quiet hours are followed, so there was not too much noise. The condo was perfect in every way. There is air conditioning in the living room, which we used at night only. When we were home during the day, we kept the slider open. We sat outside to eat on the patio in the comfortable outdoor furniture for every meal. Also, out there is a storage container with everything you will need: two boogie boards, four Tommy Bahama chairs, two umbrellas, a skim board, two coolers and a pool noodle. In the living room, there is a new pull out couch, which my daughter used. The kitchen is stocked with everything you can think of: nice refrigerator with an ice maker, blender, rice cooker, new pots and pans and dishes, cooking utensils etc... The primary bedroom was great-- new and comfortable king size bed and furniture, updated bathroom with a good shower AND an air conditioner (so nice). The neighbors were all very quiet. The location cannot be beat-- right across from Kamole Beach III and walkable to several stores and restaurants. We loved every part of this rental.
