Updated Kiawah Villa w/ Beautiful View of Lagoon - Parkside Villas

Overview
The owners of your Kiawah Island vacation villa welcome you with a complete remodel, completed in spring/summer 2021. Among the many updates are all new furnishings, and a sparkling new kitchen.

Flat-screen TVs have been added to each of the 3 bedrooms, with Apple TV and YouTube TV. Internet access is gigabyte high-speed, so you’ll have no trouble streaming even on multiple devices.

You’ll find that all of these upgrades contribute to a theme of comfort and relaxation. Tall ceilings, abundant natural light, and soothing colors are calming and peaceful. The unobstructed lagoon view nurtures the spirit.

The Villa Layout
The private first floor is a very convenient setup for any guests with mobility challenges. It offers a bedroom suite with queen bed and ensuite bath with walk-in shower. The best part of all? It also has a sliding glass door that leads directly out to a deck overlooking the lagoon. It’s a wonderful spot to enjoy the moonlight, perhaps with a glass of wine in hand.
The second floor offers the spacious living area, complete with comfortable coordinating furnishings and a Sony 65” 4k TV.

The gourmet kitchen will delight even the most discerning chef. Decked out in all new stainless steel LG appliances, it’s simply spectacular. Add to that the white cabinetry and abundance of storage and food prep space, and you’ve got a well-outfitted space that everyone will appreciate.

Front-loading laundry machines are conveniently tucked into a storage closet in the kitchen, out of the way, but easily accessible.

The formal dining space comfortably accommodates 6 and offers a lovely view of the lagoon.

The main bedroom on this level boasts a king size bed and ensuite bath with double vanities and a walk-in shower. Perhaps the best feature, though, is the private access to the screened porch overlooking the lagoon. The perfect place to sneak off for a little alone time.

The third bedroom is a great set up for kids or singles. It’s got two XL twin beds and an ensuite bath with a tub/shower.

The Screened Porch Overlooking the Lagoon
While the entire villa has that wonderfully welcoming vibe, the screened patio overlooking the lagoon will definitely capture your heart. Here is a space large enough to easily accommodate both a dining table for 5 and lounging space for 4.

It’s easy to imagine morning coffee, casual meals, and evening cocktails out here just soaking up the peace and calm of the water. If anyone feels like sunbathing, there’s an open dock with sun loungers, too.

You might even get lucky enough to spot one of the resident alligators or jumping fish! Many folks love to watch for them.

This beautifully remodeled and thoughtfully outfitted villa will be the place on Kiawah Island you’ll long to return to, season after season.

During your stay on Kiawah Island, be sure to enjoy biking on the 30 miles of flat bike trails, golfing on one of five world-class courses, playing tennis, crabbing, fishing, swimming, and boating. Many families also enjoy the kids’ camp and nature programs at Night Heron Park.

Kiawah Island is about 40 minutes from historic Charleston, famous for incredible shopping, galleries, antique stores, museums, the South Carolina Aquarium, horse-drawn carriage rides, historic landmarks, and sumptuous dining.

A Wonderful Stay!!

Our week in Kiawah Island was Wonderful!! And, that had everything to do with our stay at this villa. A lagoon view, a short, very scenic walk to the beach, and a 9 minute drive to Freshfields Village where you will find all that you could possibly need. From your morning coffee and delicious baked goods from Java Java to great meals from the local restaurants. The villa was very clean, comfortable, and the weather was beautiful.

What a fantastic experience at this VRBO in Kiawah. The hosts were communicative and extremely helpful. We will definitely stay here again when we come back to Kiawah. The condo was clean, beautiful and in a great location. Enjoyed every minute.

Lovely stay

Our family enjoyed the location and features of this rental property. The location was great, a quick ride or walk to the beach. Lots of high tech features and supplies. The home was spotless and well stocked with cooking utensils and basic supplies. We enjoyed the view of the lagoon and wildlife. Extras such as beach towels, chairs and even a fishing pole were appreciated.

We loved our stay. The unit is very well appointed, comfortable, and in great condition. The short walk to the beach was easy with 3 kids + gear. We enjoyed the screened in porch for meals overlooking the lagoon. Super close to Night Heron park. Owners were super helpful with info provided in advance and very responsive to questions during stay. We look forward to visiting again.

Excellent accommodations. The deck and porch provided great viewing of the lagoon & alligators. Enjoyed biking with the grandkids and the activities at Heron Park. Great fun for everyone. Next time I'll bring my golf clubs.

Parkside condo

We enjoyed our stay and loved the condo! Everything was super clean, up-to-date on appliances & kitchen was great! All of the condo was beautifully decorated & great furniture and comfortable beds! We’d highly recommend and look forward to returning! We did find noise of neighbors slightly bothersome, units are close, but only one evening we noticed it more. Would definitely stay again!

Wonderful Villa in Kiawah

This Parkside Villa is spacious, comfortable, very clean and well stocked. The location is great to get to Heron Park, the Sanctuary and the beach. We enjoyed our stay in this villa even on rainy days - the screened in porch is a great hangout. Jim and Mary (the hosts) are communicative and helpful. They provided an informative digital guidebook, timely communication regarding accessing the property and were very responsive to our questions. We will be staying here again.

Wedding weekend lodging

The villa was perfect for my daughter, her husband and two small sons. There was an extra room for their babysitter so that they could be free to enjoy all the wedding festivities!!! The best thing about this villa were the owners….they could not have been more accommodating and helpful. They helped make our stay so easy! We will definitely book with them again!!!

The Perfect Kiawah Villa for Families

We have been coming to Kiawah for 12 years and this was one of our best villas. The location is perfect, just 5 mins from the beach (boardwalk 22) and a short walk to the Sanctuary for ice cream. The Villa is updated and feels very clean. The technology all works well so the kids entertainment was great. We all loved the screened porch and watching the gators, turtles and jumping fish in the lagoon. Check in and communication with Mary and Jim was fantastic. We will be back. Thx!

Wonderful, clean, updated property close to everything!

This is our second time staying in the Parkside Villa's area, and I have to say, this has to be one of the nicest ones we've seen. The inside is newly updated and very nicely decorated. All of the appliances and furniture are super nice and the kitchen is stocked with everything you need to prepare meals and enjoy your stay. Another really cool bonus with this property are all of the awesome smart-home additions (Apple TV in all rooms, Sonos speakers in living room, smart thermostats, etc...very cool!). We practically lived on the covered porch and really enjoyed viewing the alligators and other wildlife. The proximity to the beach is excellent! It's literally less than 5 minutes on a bike and you're there! If you listen closely in the evenings, you can even hear the ocean from the back porch. The owners were super responsive and helpful. This really is a super nice property that is clean, updated, and close to all of the family-friendly amenities that our family has come to enjoy at Kiawah. Definitely keeping this one in our favorites list for a future visit!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The rental location was great! We could easily walk or ride bikes to the beach. The lagoon was a plus-we enjoyed watching the alligators and birds. The kitchen was spacious. Upstairs and downstairs thermostats kept everyone comfortable. The furniture (especially the porch furniture) is usable but worn and needs replacing. Also, the condo complex feels a bit like a campground with many units circling the pond. You can hear others talking and conversing in other units while sitting on the porch. Overall we enjoyed our stay & would consider staying here again, but would first check out other units before committing to this one (mostly due to the furniture).
