The rooms were old, poorly maintained, and had a strong, unpleasant odor. To make things worse, there was a lizard roaming around in the bathroom, which was quite disturbing. Despite booking two AC rooms, one of the rooms did not even have a working air conditioner. Given the condition of both the rooms and the overall environment, we had no choice but to check out immediately and book another hotel in Mahabaleshwar.
