"Our stay was wonderful as always. The staff is great, the beds are comfortable, it’s located within walking distance of everything in town. And only 2-3 miles from Mount Rushmore. It’s also off the Main Street so not a lot of traffic noise. "

"I was disappointed tat there was no breakfast offered (when I booked, I thought I had read that it was), even though the room was set up like there should have been breakfast. The second morning, I asked, and the lady handed me some to go bags. That's the only thing that I was disappointed in and not too many places to walk to for breakfast."

"This is our second time at Powder House, it definitely doesn’t disappoint. The pool is fantastic and so is the restaurant on site! The restaurant worked perfect for ordering online and eating at our cabin or by the pool. The only complaint is the AC units in the cabins are super loud and some mini splits would go along way. Also some recycling cans available would be good too. "
