"We stayed here for our daughters graduation from UF. This is an ideal location, within walking distance of campus and the downtown. The hotel is under renovation and we stayed in one of the newly renovated rooms and it was very nice. Breakfast was great and it was made to order and not a buffet. There is also an Italian restaurant attached to the hotel. We would stay here again if we were back in Gainesville."

"This is a fairly basic motel but perfectly fine, clean and comfortable, in an unbeatable location downtown. Rooms are set back a bit from the street so they stay quiet. The parking is enclosed and seems very secure. For me the biggest drawback was loud and fairly ineffective air-conditioning (although it did work). I would definitely stay again."
