You will know you're on vacation when you enter this luxurious townhome!

This beautiful home is located in Kawama Yacht Club, a gated community in the heart of Key Largo. Its many high-end finishes include stainless steel appliances, granite countertops, a sizable island with stools, and beautiful bamboo floors. Guests will have access to free wifi and cable TV. Our guests are also invited to use the bikes, kayaks, and other water toys located at the unit. This end-unit is conveniently located directly in front of a saltwater lagoon and just steps from the pools and playground -- an excellent layout for families. The adults can watch the kids swim in the lagoon while relaxing on the balcony or the small beach.

Kawama Yacht Club's amenities include free parking for two cars, an on-site marina (with boat ramp), ocean-front access, 24-hour security, boat trailer parking, a saltwater lagoon, heated pools, a playground, a small sand beach, and tennis & pickleball courts.

Guests can go boating, snorkeling, kayaking, paddle boarding, fishing, or just relax in the tropical sun! Access to the Kawama marina ramp is free. Please let us know if you need a boat slip, and we will provide details. Please note that proof of insurance will be required for a minimum of 300K to bring a watercraft on the premises.

Kawama Yacht Club is minutes from John Pennekamp Coral Reef State Park, which provides many excellent recreational activities (boat rentals or charters) and is known worldwide for breathtaking scuba diving and snorkeling. Several great restaurants, including the Key Largo Fisheries Backyard Café, Pilot House, and Snooks, are minutes away. A grocery store is also located within 2 miles of the house. Between the on-site amenities and convenient access to some of Key Largo's best attractions, Kawama Yacht Club offers excellent value for your money. We (3adults) had a short, 3 day stay in March.The Kawama Yacht Club is in a good area with plenty of outdoor areas to enjoy. The condo is an end unit with parking right in front if needed. Pros: Quiet, safe areaVery cleanBeds were comfortable Good supply of kitchen basics (glasses, plates, silverware etc…)Great supply of beach towels in closet downstairs. 1st level living area very nice and comfortable.Private 3 bedroomsCons for us:Inadequate outdoor furniture. Only 2 main level chairs and one was unusable and a very small table. The upstairs balcony furniture was not all that comfortable. Kitchen bar chairs were very uncomfortable. Upstairs bedroom had a hole in the flat sheet.Need better supply of washcloths and hand towels.3rd floor shower was nice but no water pressure and basically unusable.Main level shower worked well but never got really hot water.The main level and 1st level bathrooms are VERY small. Barely enough room to dry off, dress after showering. The bathroom doors are not solid so no privacy from bathroom sounds.Stairs are narrow and very steep.1st level bedroom was as pictured -small and the cooling unit worked but turned off and on a lot. The ceiling fan was great. Would have been nice to have them in all the bedrooms. The main level seating was ok- not super comfortable.The place was clean and adequate with a quirky layout.

The condo was great for 2 couples. Beds were very comfortable. Kitchen was well equipped for cooking. Screened deck had lovely view of the lagoon. Deck furniture could use a refresh as legs are very wobbly. Fun to see the kids and adults enjoying swimming and kayaking and building sand castles at beach area. The paddle board needs some attention. The 2 kayaks are for small kids not adults. Pools were heated and very clean. We walked out to the point and watched incredible sunsets. Had excellent fresh fish from the fish market down the street. Thank you Isis for sharing your lovely home !

The place was exactly as described and very clean upon arrival. A quiet area and very safe. Tons of amenities although it was too cold for us to use them :( Comfortable beds and a well stocked kitchen! We did have issues with the showers (not warm or not enough pressure) and also the seating can’t really fit 6 adults comfortably, but 4-5 would be okay. Overall these inconveniences did not impact our stay too much and we would definitely return

Beautiful location

The location is just beautiful with the fish and the lagoon right outside the door. We rally enjoyed swimming in the lagoon. The condo kitchen is well equipped. The listing is very accurate. We enjoyed our stay

Primary guest

Overall the place was nice. The only complaint we have would be the marina and boat ramp. You can only take your boat in or out during high tide. If you are not an experienced boat owner you would have an extremely difficult time with the marina. Other than that the stay was great.

Keys first timers, great family visit

This is a great family friendly place to stay. Very clean and well cared for. The pools and playground kept the kids (5 and 9) entertained. It is also well located to explore other local sites like, the dolphin rescue and founders park, and lots of places to eat, like C&C wood fire eats and the pilot house. Pilot house was my fave. The kitchen is equipped with your basics for cooking the off meal, like breakfast, but an upgrade, especially in the pans and cooking utensils, would be greatly appreciated. A good frying pan goes a long way. Sleeping arrangements were great for 4 adults (grand parents and parents) and 2 kids. The ground level bedroom could use puffier pillows and a softer mattress—but that is just me. Would I recommend this place to another family, yep! This place set a bar for our next family vacation to the keys.

Kawama Vrbo Key Largo

Great place with nice amenities. The location was close to various attractions and restaurants. The weather was fantastic. We had a group of five people, either from the Chicago or Pittsburgh area.

Wonderful stay

The place was very well appointed and very clean. The bathroom and bedroom on the 1st floor were very small but we managed. The rest of the house was so comfortable. We loved sitting on the porch and looking at the lagoon. The wonderful beach is a short walk. They do advertise pickelball courts but from what we could tell they were only tennis courts. There are other courts very close so we just used them. Highly re!
