Not worth the $$$ ... wouldn't stay again
30 day stay for us ... PROS: location is ideal. Quiet street a few miles from downtown Key Largo and Islamorada. Canal front with seating underneath the house - outdoor furniture is definitely worn, but I just threw towels over the seating. The gate and outdoor nighttime lighting is a plus. Interior layout is sufficient for 2 people-short stay`. The unit was clean enough, although I had to wash the bathmat and bedspreads. CONS: upon arrival on New Years Day we found the front door hanging open. Not knowing how long it had been open was worrisome. The lockbox code provided did not work. Digital lock did not work. Vacasa provided a different lockox code to try, and there was no key inside (no way of locking the house). They replaced the digital box 2 days later. The lockbox master key took an additional week. The internet wouldn't work-corporate refunded several days of no internet. I had to use my hotspot for work. These were most important, along with NO interior lock on the door, so you can't secure it at night (multiple people have the entry codes - this is unsafe)! *Less important items: they brought a mop 1 week later. Master mattress needs to be replaced. Towels severely worn. No toaster (found an old toaster oven in closet). No kettle. Did a dollar store run for cleaning items, kitchen dishtowels, kitchen mat, tupperware. NO instruction list for codes, phone #'s, trash days, etc. Kitchen sink faucets leak. No storage dishes provided except few carryout items.
